Founder of his own business communications firm, Ted has 30 years of public relations leadership experience with Fortune 500 companies and major PR firms. His center of expertise is corporate reputation management, forging research-based programs that promote and defend brands across diverse functions and industries. Distinguishing strengths include: communicating corporate strategies, developing content, building thought leadership programs and advocating social responsibility.
Ted spent 17 years in financial services, spanning commercial real estate, securities brokerage and multinational banking. He began his corporate career at Continental Illinois, where he ran financial and marketing communications. His accomplishments included leading media relations and crisis communications during what was then the largest bank restructuring in U.S. history, culminating with its $1.9 billion merger with Bank of America.
In addition, he is vice president of the board for Gateway to Learning, a Chicago nonprofit that provides pre-vocational programs to adults with special needs. A former reporter with experience in the public sector and political campaigns, Ted earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Purdue University.
