Leise Rosman has more than a decade of experience managing strategy and operations for dynamic socially-minded enterprises. She first began consulting to the cannabis industry in 2011. As an integral member of the early 4Front Advisors team since 2014, she has helped dozens of prospective medical cannabis dispensary and cultivation businesses successfully navigate competitive licensing processes in several states and later advised them on their operations as they became successful operators in new markets. She later directed 4Front’s early operations portfolio, including medical cannabis cultivation, processing, and dispensary operations in several highly-regulated states. Today, as Chief Growth Officer for 4Front, she leads the company’s regulatory efforts in new markets, internal training and organizational development efforts, and capacity building programs for social equity operators across the US.
Prior to her leadership at 4Front, Leise spent nearly a decade in leadership positions at several notable economic and workforce development nonprofit policy organizations focused on creating pathways to prosperity for disadvantaged populations, including residents of public housing and returning citizens in Chicago, adults with low literacy skills in Detroit, and low-income workers throughout US, through the design of comprehensive change initiatives, building coalitions, developing sustainable resources, and strategically aligning the interests of diverse sets of stakeholders. She also has led financial and administrative operations at several nonprofit organizations.
Leise sees a unique opportunity right now to take the best practices from the empowerment strategies her peers in the social services world have worked to refine and apply them in the context of the exponential growth of the cannabis industry to create real, transformative economic opportunities for individuals, families, and communities.
She holds an MBA and a Master of Management in Nonprofit Administration from North Park University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in management and organizational development from Spring Arbor University. She lives in Indiana with her husband of ten years and three young children.
